About us

Hello!

We are a club of 13 Rotarians serving the towns of Marlborough, Pewsey and the surrounding villages. We meet every other Monday lunchtime, usually at Marlborough Golf Club. Visiting Rotarians, friends and anybody interested in Rotary would be welcome to join us.

During the year we run various events to raise funds for local, national and international charities and to serve the local community. We organise regular events each year- especially the two car boot sales, one on each of the May and August Bank Holidays and an Annual Fayre. Other activities include supporting mock interviews for school leavers and working with the Stroke Association on their national “Know Your Blood Pressure” day. The club provides the Marlborough's central Christmas tree each year and collects for a children's hospice during the festive period. We also work with local Social Services teams to support requests for assistance to local families such as providing household equipment

The club supports Rotary District 1100 by participating in the annual 'Kids Out' event for disadvantaged children, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) programme and the Rotary National Competitions for Young People. Members host Rotarians and their partners when visiting the District from overseas on Rotary Friendship Exchanges.
